Personal Computer Banking Download Instructions for Importing to Intuit Quicken and Microsoft Money Software
Step 1: Sign into your Personal Computer Banking account using your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape etc) or alternately with Quicken or Money.
Step 2: Click on Accounts followed by the Account you wish to download.
Step 3: Click the button in the upper left.
Step 4: Choose Money, Quicken, or Excel format and click Download.
If you have difficulty downloading transactions try selecting start and end dates. When you click on 'Download', your browser may display the information directly on the browser instead of prompting you to Save/Open the file. This means that your computer is not setup to understand the file associations of the file extension you are trying to download. To resolve this issue, follow the steps provided below depending on the type of your browser and Operating System.
Microsoft Money(OFC) setup for Windows XP with Internet Explorer
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Windows Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>File Types. (Windows Explorer can be found under Programs, Accessories.)
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'Money Download', If you do not find this entry go to step 6.
- Click on the Change... button.
- Select Microsoft Money.
- Go to step 10.
- Click the 'New' button.
- type '.ofc' and 'OK.'
- Click 'Advanced', and type 'Microsoft Money' in the first text box.
- Click 'New', and type in 'open' in the 'Action' block. Next browse to 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\Msmoney.exe' or similar and uncheck all check boxes.
- Click OK on all screens and restart Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Money(OFC) setup for Windows 2000 with Internet Explorer
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Windows Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>File Types.
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'Money Download', If you do not find this entry go to step 6.
- Click on the Change... button.
- Select Microsoft Money.
- Go to step 10.
- Click on 'Advanced' and 'New Type' to add a new entry.
- type '.ofc' and 'OK.'
- Click 'Advanced', and type 'Microsoft Money' in the first text box.
- Click 'New', and type in 'open' in the 'Action' block. Type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\Msmoney.exe-x"%1"' for Application used to perform action and Uncheck all check boxes.
- Click OK on all screens and restart Internet Explorer.
Quicken(QIF) setup for Windows 2000 and Windows XP with Internet Explorer versions 6.0 or above
To save a QIF file to your desktop and import with Quicken use the follow these steps to set up your PC:
- Start>Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer (You may have to click the down arrow to view the full list.)
- Tools>Folder Options>File Types tab.
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'qif' and delete this entry if it exists.
- Click New
- Type qif in the box.
- Click on Advanced and select Application from the drop down menu..
- Ok>Close
Microsoft Excel setup for Windows 2000 with Internet Explorer versions 6.0 or above
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Open Windows Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>File Types.
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'Money Download', If you do not find this entry go to step 6.
- Click on the Change... button.
- Select Excel.
- Go to step 10.
- Click on 'Advanced' and 'New Type' to add a new entry.
- type '.ofc' and 'OK.'
- Click 'Advanced', and type 'Excel' in the first text box.
- Click 'New', and type in 'open' in the 'Action' block. Type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\office\excel.exe-x"%1"' for Application used to perform action and Uncheck all check boxes.
- Click OK on all screens and restart Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Money(OFC) setup for Windows 98/ME and Internet Explorer
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Windows Explorer>View>Folder Options>File Types.
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'Money Download', If you do not find this entry go to step 6.
- Click on Edit to view/edit settings.
- Type 'application/x-msmoney' for Content Type(MIME), type '.ofc' for Default Extension for Content Type, type 'open' for Actions and Uncheck all check boxes.
- Go to step 9.
- Click on 'New Type' to add a new entry.
- Type 'Money Download' for Description of type, type 'application/x-msmoney' for Content Type(MIME) and type '.ofc' for Default Extension for Content Type.
- Click on 'New' for Actions. Type 'open' for Action and type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\Msmoney.exe-x"%1"' for Application used to perform action and Uncheck all check boxes.
- Click OK on all screens and restart Internet Explorer.
Quicken(QIF) setup for Windows 98/ME and Internet Explorer versions 6.0 or above

- Click on 'New' for Actions. Type 'open' for Action and type 'c:\quicknw\qw.exe-x"%1"' for Application used to perform action and Uncheck all check boxes.
- Click OK on all screens and restart Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Excel setup for Windows 98/ME and Internet Explorer versions 6.0 or above
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

- Click on 'New' for Actions. Type 'open' for Action and type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\office\excel.exe-x"%1"' for Application used to perform action and Uncheck all check boxes.
- Click OK on all screens and restart Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Money(OFC) setup for Netscape versions 6.0 or above
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Start Netscape.
- In Netscape go to: Main Menu>Edit>Preferences>Navigator>Applications.
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'Money Download', If you do not find this entry go to step 7.
- Click on Edit to view/edit settings.
- Type 'application/x-msmoney' for MIME Type, select Application and type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\system\Msmoney.exe-X"%1"' for Handled By.
- Go to Step 9.
- Click on New Type to add an entry.
- Type 'Money Download' for Description of Type, type 'OFX' for File Extension, type 'application/x-msmoney' for MIME Type, type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\system\Msmoney.exe-X"%1"' for Application to use.
- Click 'OK' on all screens and restart Netscape.
Quicken(QIF) setup for Netscape versions 6.0 or above
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Start Netscape.
- In Netscape go to: Main Menu>Edit>Preferences>Navigator>Applications.
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'Quicken download', If you do not find this entry go to step 7.
- Click on Edit to view/edit settings.
- Type 'application/x-qw' for MIME Type, select Application and type 'C:\QUICKENW\qw.exe-X"%1"' for Handled By.
- Go to Step 9.
- Click on New Type to add an entry.
- Type 'Quicken download' for Description of Type, type 'QIF' for File Extension, type 'application/x-qw' for MIME Type, type 'C:\QUICKENW\qw.exe-X"%1"' for Application to use.
- Click 'OK' on all screens and restart Netscape.
Microsoft Excel (CSV) setup for Netscape versions 6.0 or above
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Start Netscape.
- In Netscape go to: Main Menu>Edit>Preferences>Navigator>Applications.
- Scroll through the list of helper applications to locate the entry for 'Excel Download', If you do not find this entry go to step 7.
- Click on Edit to view/edit settings.
- Type 'application/x-excel' for MIME Type, select Application and type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\office\excel.exe-X"%1"' for Handled By.
- Go to Step 9.
- Click on New Type to add an entry.
- Type 'Excel Download' for Description of Type, type 'csv' for File Extension, type 'application/x-excel' for MIME Type, type 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\office\excel.exe-X"%1"' for Application to use.
- Click 'OK' on all screens and restart Netscape.
