Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union appreciates the men and woman who serve our country. We would like to put your mind at ease during your deployment. Notify us of when you’re scheduled to leave and we will handle the rest. We’ll guide you on your options for loan payments and financial obligations. Denali Alaskan partnered with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) in December of 2009 to show our commitment to servicemembers. Our 16 branch managers signed a Statement of Support with the local ESGR Committee. By signing with Alaska ESGR committee, we will publicly display our support of Alaska’s National Guard and Reserve components, and their defense of the United States.

 

Be aware of your rights as a servicemember! The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) was created to protect individuals entering, called to active duty in the military, or deployed. Learn more by visiting: http://www.military.com/benefits/legal-matters/scra/overview.

 

Here a couple suggestions to get your finances in place before deployment:

 

Easy Pay – If you have household expenses to be responsible for while you are deployed, Easy Pay is a convenient and reliable way to pay bills on time. This service allows you to schedule when you want to pay bills and how much you want taken out of your account. Before you are deployed make sure you have these payments set up or establish a power of attorney/family member to act on your behalf.

 

Direct Deposit – Direct deposit is a simple way to have your paychecks go directly into your savings or checking account while you are away. Your payroll department or government agency should be able to assist you in setting this up. You will need to provide them with your credit union account number as well as our routing/transit number, which is 325272047.

 

Denali Direct – Receive e-statements and account-related information in the form of “alerts.” Denali Direct options include:   

  • E-Statement Delivery Alert   
  • Direct Deposit Alert   
  • Account and Loan Balance Alerts   
  • Loan Payment Due Alert
  • Certificate Maturity Alert   
  • Checks Cleared Alert   
  • Insufficient Funds Alert
  • Information Alerts.
