Matt at the Huffman branch went above and beyond to answer all my questions. I have found over the years that the employees at the Huffman branch to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Sasha and Marie at the Abbott Loop Safeway branch of Nuvision Credit Union went above and beyond to help me with my debit card after a Paypal incident- They were fast-friendly and really incredibly helpful getting my debit card back in working order!!

Been with them for 20 years. On Yelp now to figure out a better credit union. This weeks example of why they suck, I mobile deposited a cashiers check into my account a week ago, and it still hasn't all the way cleared. So annoying.

Stay far away from these guys . Incompetent and slow. Tired of the nu vision after their slow incompetent work . Will close my accounts asap.

I was trying to buy a truck cash from a dealership and even though my wire transfer was approved, the app had issues. Not only that, I asked them twice to send me an email notification of the transaction so that I could then send a confirmation number to the dealership. Twice I asked and they twice acknowledged my request, but did not bother. It turns out, dealerships hate working with nuvision because they take forever to get anything done. It's time to bank with someone else. Thanks for taking a really good credit union (Denali Alaskan) and ruining it.

This review is specifically for the Huffman branch located in Carrs (Safeway)! I went there to open an account for my little sister and they were so helpful and explained everything to her in a way an 18 year old would understand. Each teller was personable and friendly; they also greeted us when we walked in and made us feel welcomed. (Which by the way is hard to come by nowadays). I don't bank with them, but it made me rethink where I'd like to bank based on the service they have provided.

This isn't even my bank but I felt the need to leave a review after having to deal with their (lack of) customer service. Someone left their NuVision card in our parking lot, so I thought I would call and try to see if they could get a hold of them about getting their card back, since obviously I don't have a way to reach the cardholder directly. Their listed hours online are incorrect- they close at 2 on Saturdays, not 6 like they list. Trying to call them goes nowhere, no matter which branch you call, half of them go to message boxes and half go completely dead. There is just nobody answering the phones. The suggested wait time is a huge underestimation. I was told I would be on hold with their call center for 10 minutes, and waited 30 before finally giving up and hanging up. If you lost your nuvision card recently, I'm sorry that your bank has made it impossible to return it to you. I cannot imagine their customer service is much better for their actual customers, which is a scary thought where your finances are concerned

Miles, we apologize for the difficulty you experienced trying to reach the branch and our call center. This branch is open till 6:00pm and our call center is open till 2pm on Saturdays. Staff in the branch may not have been able to answer the phone due to helping members in the lobby. We will report your feedback to management to ensure there are no issues going through our phone system to speak to a branch. This review is specifically for Troy Glendenning at the Debarr location. In am unforseen twist of life I found myself being penalized for paying cash for my last three vehicles. This unfortunately lists me as a first time car buyer, which I assure you is far from the case. However that being said Troy went above and beyond to help me find the right loan and the right dealer. His network of industry leaders has made this by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. He got me the best deal, with the best rates. His devotion to putting his clients needs first puts him far above the rest!!! Couldn't be more pleased

This is a long review, and like most people I don't do these often. However, I believe these mega corporations, and banks need to be stopped, and This is the best way to do it. So here goes. I decided to open an account with Denali Alaskan (at the time, nuvision had bought them, but had claimed to be keeping the local name, because of its heritage in the area) About 3 years ago, because I had started a business, and my current small bank was slightly difficult to access. It was fine for just a personal account, but with me needing to do more banking, I needed a new accessible bank, and one that could share branch with my old bank for family purposes. I was assured, and promised, that denali would be staying, and all their branches in my area would be offering share branch. Fast forward 3 years, Nuvision has completely done away with anything Denali related, they have closed most branches around town except for in frickin wal-marts, and share branch is now only available in one location all the way out on the edge of town, a 30-minute drive. If thats not enough, I am constantly bombarded with calls to verify transactions, even if I have made them multiple times in the past. And Then the online system is bunk, or I get a robot for 20 minutes until I finally find a person. I'm tired of it, and the only people you can talk to are low level workers, who are not responsible for any of these things I've been lied to about, or had change. There are now no local banks in my area. I'm forced to bank with global faceless entities, all because these greedy people buy up every little thing they can, and destroy any semblance of local hometown business. Nuvision is one of those entities.

Jay, we are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. When Nuvision merged with Denali Nuvision we agreed to retain the name for three years, which we did. We were also committed to keeping our Alaska staff, which we have done – all of the staff at our Alaska branches are Alaskans.
Now, we are expanding our Alaska branch capabilities. We have reduced our overall branch network in Alaska but are working to make our branches more effective. Nuvision has built a new branch in Wasilla, and we’re now building a new branch in Fairbanks that offer member features previously unavailable in the state. We are actively looking to expand our branch capabilities in Anchorage, as well.
We have improved our online programs which allow you to conduct transactions formerly available only through shared branching; for example, the new Zelle software is the national standard for transferring money from one person to another. Other services include Deposit Switch, allowing you to conveniently change direct deposits to your account, and Remote Deposit Capture, allowing you to conduct deposits through your mobile phone.

Arriane was great! She was my first contact in regards to my HELOC . She made the first impression of Nuvision easy and friendly. The whole approval process was smooth and quick. The line is now available for my use within the same month I started. Thank you Nuvision for the help.
